Deirbhile Ní Churraighín, a native of Teelin, Co. Donegal, joined TG4 eight weeks before the channel was launched on Halloween night 1996.
She now has special responsibility for drama, including the channel’s soap Ros na Rún.
In addition, she oversees the development of new drama, long form and short form and with her colleague Máire Ní Chonláin, has responsibility for Cine 4, TG4’s feature film scheme with has garnered much positive attention, both at home and globally.
