Rebecca Thompson is the Head of Indie Relations at Channel 4, and based in their Glasgow office. The focus of her role is on improving the commissioning process and indies’ experience of working with the channel, as well as supporting the drive to commission more from the Nations and Regions and managing the Emerging Indie Fund. Rebecca joined Channel 4 from leading FOCUS, a project offering business development support for film and TV companies in Scotland. Her previous roles include founding and running both Hot Tap Media, a digital production company, and Social Screen. She was previously a digital producer at KEO Films and a Commissioning Editor at Channel 4.
