Karen was appointed Editor, BBC Gaeilge in February 2013. She is a member of the commissioning team for Irish Language content and is responsible for leading the Irish language in-house teams and managing output on radio, television and online. Karen has worked as series producer, director, producer and presenter on a variety of programming for television, radio and online since she joined BBC Northern Ireland in 1995. She joined the Irish Language department as television producer in 2004 and has worked on projects both in-house and in the independent sector.
