Gavin has worked in scripted television for most of his career having spent 14 years at The Comedy Unit before moving to the BBC to take up the role of Commissioning Executive. Since joining in 2018 Gavin has worked as co commissioner of scripted series including Guilt (BBC Scotland and BBC Two), Still Game (BBC Scotland and BBC One), Limmy’s Homemade Show (BBC Scotland and BBC Two), as well as local exec for River City, Scot Squad, Float and The Scotts. Gavin also execs entertainment for BBC Scotland including channel launch show A Night at the Theatre, Des Doesn’t Do, Iain Robertson Rambles, Breaking the News and Socially Distant with Susan Calman.
